🎯 Your Mission:

As Strategy & Ops Analist at Playtomic, sustainable, you will have the mission to drive profitable growth by transforming complex data into decisive action—uncovering hidden revenue and margin opportunities through deep analytics, designing scalable and cost-efficient solutions grounded in rigorous business cases, and leading cross-functional teams to execute high-impact initiatives.

👩🏽‍💻 What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Data Mining

  • Deep Dive Analytics: Autonomously extract and manipulate large datasets using Visualization Tool (Looker) to identify anomalies in revenue streams and cost structures.

  • P&L Auditing: Perform granular operational audits of the Profit & Loss statements by country to detect leaks in the Gross Margin.

2. Strategic Design

  • Business Case Development: Build financial models to project the ROI of proposed solutions.

  • Process Engineering: Design new, scalable workflows and technical solutions.

  • Benchmarking: Research and negotiate with external providers (PSPs, fraud tools, tax consultants) to ensure the company operates with the most competitive cost structure.

3. Execution

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the "glue" between departments, leading squads composed of Product Engineers, Legal experts, and Finance specialists.

  • MVP Implementation: Own & lead the end-to-end launch of pilot solutions (e.g., a new automated billing flow or a fraud-scoring engine) and monitor real-time performance.

4. Monitoring

  • KPI Dashboarding: Build automated monitoring tools to allow teams to track profitability improvements post-intervention.

  • Post-Mortem Analysis: Conduct regular reviews to refine strategies based on market shifts, user behavior, or new regulatory requirements.

👥 Who You’ll Be Playing With:

All kind of internal “players!”: Business, Sales and Customer Care, Operations and BI, Product, Finance teams etc.

🦄 Our Ideal "Player":

  • Proven Track Record: At least 3 years of experience within Strategic Consulting, High-growth Tech Companies (Marketplaces, SaaS, or Fintech) or Successful Digital Startups

  • Engineering Excellence: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Computer Science, Maths, Aerospace, etc.) from a top-tier national or international university.

  • Analytical Rigor: The ability to dissect a complex P&L and key business metrics to find the "needle in the haystack."

  • Entrepreneurial Vision: You act as an owner, not a tenant. You don't wait for instructions; you find problems and fix them.

  • Very fluent English level.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Visualization tool. Ability to translate raw data into business levers.

  • Stakeholder Influence: High "soft skills" level to lead transversal teams (Product, Legal, Finance, Business) without having direct formal authority over them.

  • Execution Focus: A passion for seeing a project through from the "messy middle" to a normalized, stable operation.

  1. First Interview (People Team): Cultural values, soft skills assessment, and behavioral interview (1 hour).

  2. Second Interview (Hiring Manager): Deep dive into background, cultural fit, and a strategic business case. (1.30 hours). Prepare basis business case

  3. Third Interview (VP of Ops): Strategic alignment, background deep-dive, and cultural fit (1 hour).
