SEO & ASO Specialist

🎯 Your mission

As the SEO & ASO Specialist, you will be responsible for driving Playtomic's online presence by optimizing our website and app content to rank highly on search engines and app stores across global markets. Your role will focus on increasing organic traffic and improving search visibility through strategic search engine & app store optimization. With Playtomic operating in 60+ countries, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape SEO & ASO strategies for a global audience and make a measurable impact.


👩🏽‍💻 What you’ll be doing

1. On-page optimizations and content creation:

  • Ensure on-page SEO best practices are followed, optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, URL structures, and content for search engines.
  • Identify high-value keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
  • Naturally integrate keywords into titles, meta descriptions, headings, and body content.
  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content that aligns with user intent.
  • Detect and fix broken links to ensure a healthy internal linking.
  • Analyze top-ranking competitors and their content strategy to discover opportunities.
  • Review the main competitors' backlinking profile and spot new linkbuilding opportunities.


2. Performance monitoring and reporting:

  • Proficient using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and SEMrush.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics such as traffic, rankings, and conversions.
  • Generate actionable insights from SEO performance data to continually optimize strategies.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to keep Playtomic competitive in search results.
  • Identify pages with high exit rates and optimize them for better engagement.


3. ASO ownership and experimentation:

  • Take ownership of our app store placements across the different markets and languages.
  • Run A/B tests in key markets, testing different screenshots, descriptions etc.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword analysis to enhance app discoverability.
  • Collaborate with designers to create compelling app icons, screenshots, and preview videos.
  • Implement strategies to encourage positive user reviews and high ratings.
  • Analyze engagement metrics and make data-driven ASO improvements.


🦄 Our Ideal "Player"

  • Approximately 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in generating content and optimizing it for SEO to rank in multiple markets.
  • Familiarity with Google search algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Expertise in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in ASO, running experiments and tools such as AppTweak or AppFigures
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
  • A passion for digital marketing and a deep understanding of how users search and engage with online content.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aligned with our company values and demonstrates them in both professional and personal interactions.
  • Available to work from Playtomic HQ offices (located in Madrid) 1x per month.
