We are looking for a Partner Success Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg (Gauteng). In this role, you will be the driving force behind our clubs' success, focusing on high-level strategic discussions and product adoption. You will act as a Key Account Manager and Business Developer, ensuring that sports clubs in South Africa not only join Playtomic but transform the way they operate. Onboarding & Implementation
Manage and process onboarding referrals, ensuring a first contact within one working day.
Guide clubs through their journey: from the initial checklist (pricing, memberships, pre-opening offers) to delivering high-impact training sessions before their go-live date.
Ensure all partners adhere to brand guidelines and have access to the Playtomic branding welcome kit (digital and print).
Strategic Management & Growth
High-level decision making: Lead strategic discussions with club owners to improve their operational performance and product adoption.
Webinars & Training: Organize and host monthly webinars to present new features and demonstrate their benefits to the community.
Retention & Analysis: Analyze club activity and data to manage engagement initiatives, specifically for long-tail clubs, to minimize churn and maximize platform value.
Market Presence
Identify new partner opportunities and convince clubs to evolve their traditional business models.
Assist with local events, activations, and club visits (approx. 15% travel within Johannesburg and Pretoria).
You'll be working closely with our country manager in South Africa, and the wider regional team. You will be part of a high-performance squad dedicated to digitalizing the racket sports industry in South Africa.
Experience: +2 years as a Key Account Manager (KAM), Business Developer, or in SaaS/Tech onboarding. We value hands-on experience and a proven track record over specific degrees.
Education: BA in Marketing, Business, or Administration is preferred.
Strategic & Persuasive: Strong communication and negotiation skills. You don't just explain the product; you convince clubs to work differently.
Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to tracking club progress and market trends.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable with technical configurations, hosting online webinars, and using CRMs (Hubspot experience is a major plus).
Proactive & Self-Starter: You have a "hunger" to learn, are quick-witted, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Languages: Native English preferred.
Logistics: Based in Gauteng (Johannesburg/Pretoria). A valid driver’s license and own car are required for club visits (15% travel).
Experience in the Padel or Tennis industry (huge plus!).
Previous experience managing sports clubs.
Background in SaaS, Apps, or the Tech industry.
Salary: Depending on experience, to be discussed during the process.
