We’re looking for a Country Manager – Italy to lead and grow Playtomic’s operations, partnerships, and business performance in our home market. You’ll be responsible for driving commercial success, building strong relationships with our most strategic partners (clubs), and ensuring that our teams deliver an outstanding experience to both clubs and players.

👩🏽‍💻 What you’ll be doing
Strategic Leadership
Own the P&L, growth, and performance of Playtomic in Italy, ensuring we achieve our business objectives.
Develop and execute a country growth strategy aligned with Playtomic’s global vision and priorities.
Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across the sports ecosystem.
Team & Partner Leadership
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Customer Success Managers and local specialists, fostering collaboration, accountability, and impact.
Maintain and expand key relationships with major sports clubs, chains, and federations, ensuring their long-term success on our platform.
Drive partner satisfaction and retention by ensuring world-class operational excellence and service delivery.
Operational & Commercial Excellence
Monitor business performance metrics (revenue growth, activation, retention, satisfaction) and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Marketing teams to adapt Playtomic’s offerings to the Spanish market.
Negotiate and close strategic agreements that contribute to Playtomic’s expansion and brand leadership.
Market Expertise
Act as the voice of the Italian market internally—sharing trends, user feedback, and competitive insights to inform global strategy.
Represent Playtomic at events, conferences, and within the local sports community as the company’s ambassador.
👥 Who you’ll be playing with
You’ll work closely with regional and global leaders, leading a talented local team to drive growth and engagement across Italy (and other markets).
🦄 Our Ideal "Player"
Deep understanding of the Racket sports industry and/or experience working with clubs, venues, or federations.
6+ years of experience in business operations, partnerships, or customer success, ideally within sports, techor hospitality.
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into strategy and measurable results.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Highly organized, strategic, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Native Italian speaker and fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
